This poster is designed to encourage children to share how they are feeling. Letting them know that all feelings are okay. Ask the children to pick a face that represents how they are feeling, you can then discuss why they chose that face or you may just to want to use it as a tool to get an idea of how the child is when they walk into school in the morning.

These cards can used during circle times or as part of a PSED lesson where children can take a card and discuss something positive about themselves, I am kind because… I am a good friend because… In addition, other children can also describe something positive about them too. They encourage open discussions about feelings, being a kind person and builds self confidence. These cards help children to realise that they are great as they are.
